Here is July's
monthly health challenge:
SPEND TEN MINUTES DAYDREAMING EVERY DAY!
When was the last time you spent ten uninterupted minutes dreaming about your five year plan, your bucket list, vacations or how your children will grow in the next year? How often do you take ten minutes to yourself without your cell phone, computer or task list nagging you for attention?
Our health is not solely measured in calories and miles on the treadmill. Food and fitness are important tools to our health, but we need to spend time every day daydreaming about what we truly desire for ourselves, our children and our relationships. Without dreams, we merely exist, and that is not healthy.
Reaching your healthiest you requires prioritization of your life demands. If we are so concerned with completing our task list, we lose sight of the things that matter to us most. Unfortunately, most of us have forgotten to discover what matters most to us and our task list becomes our sole life focus.
So, daydream away! I can't wait to see
