Restaurant Guide (Health program approved!)

Let's face it, we all like to eat at restaurants.  If we choose to eat healthfully, we typically opt for the safe choice -- a salad.  Salads are a great choice, especially if you don't want to spend 30 minutes dissecting the menu.  If you choose a salad, you should beware of the common salad pitfalls: cheese and salad dressing.  Request your server leave off the cheese and request a low-fat dressing or Italian dressing.

Salad isn't your only choice though!  Here are some alternate menu choices that also follow the health program I am a health coach for:

Grilled Dijon Chicken & Portobellos
     *Special request: no white cheddar, substitute extra veggies for potatoes

Black Bear Diner ~ Check out their Fit and Focused menu!

Chili Lime Tilapia
    *Special request: no fruit, add extra veggies (or side salad)

Farmer’s Scramble



     *Speical request: no cheese, no fruit, no toast, add extra veggies (or side salad)

Acapulco Scramble

Chicken or shrimp fajitas
     *Special request: no onions, extra bell peppers
     *Do not eat: tortillas, guacamole or sweet corn tamalito

Coyotes Bar & Grill ~ Request the Healthy & Fit menu if it isn't featured on the back of your menu!

The healthy & Fit menu features entrees like salmon, buffalo steak, bun-less buffalo burger and other items.  The menu was designed by a fellow health coach!
